Mama, We See Your Strength
A healing-centered gathering created for Black mothers to rest, connect, and be supported.
Saturday, August 1Thank you for a great event
On August 1, 2026, Edith Institute welcomed Black mothers to Mama, We See Your Strength, a community wellness event centered on healing, connection, and support.
Black mothers face disproportionate challenges in maternal health and wellness. This gathering was part of Edith Institute’s commitment to addressing those gaps by creating spaces that prioritize support, dignity, and healing.
We are grateful to the mothers who joined us, our facilitators, community partners, sponsors, volunteers, and everyone who helped make this day possible.
Thank you for showing up, connecting, and sharing this space with us.
What to ExpectMama, We See Your Strength is a one-day experience intentionally designed for Black mothers. This gathering centers healing, connection, and access to supportive resources in a space that honors their lived experiences.
Through curated sessions, community-building, and moments of rest, this event will provide a meaningful opportunity for mothers to reconnect with themselves and each other.
Each session is intentionally designed to support emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing. Led by trusted facilitators, these small-group experiences will center reflection, storytelling, and practical tools that mothers can carry with them beyond the event.
❋ Healing-centered breakout sessionsWe recognize that rest is essential. Dedicated areas and a thoughtfully designed environment will support quiet reflection, decompression, and moments to pause. Every element of the space is created to help mothers feel safe, calm, and fully supported.
